An In-depth Research Trip Aiming to Explore Integrated Utilization of Biomass Conducted by A Delegation from Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rurual Affairs at Debo

On August 26, 2024, in order to promote the utilization of agricultural waste and optimize the rural energy structure, a delegation of senior officials from the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs crossed regional boundaries to conduct an in-depth research trip in Anhui Province. The first stop of their visit was Hefei Debo, where they focused on investigating the company’s two innovative projects in Feixi County: biomass gasification for combined production of heat and charcoal, and biomass gasification for hydrogen production. The aim was to thoroughly explore the practical applications and industrial development of biomass gasification technology.

Mr. Lu Wanbao, Deputy General Manager of Debo Energy, provided a detailed introduction to the principles, technical processes, economic benefits, and environmental advantages of biomass gasification technology. By converting agricultural waste and other biomass materials into clean gas, thermal energy, and hydrogen energy, the technology not only enables effective treatment and resource utilization of agricultural waste but also provides a green and sustainable solution for energy supply in rural areas.

This research trip not only deepened the officials' understanding of biomass gasification technology and its industrial applications but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides in the field of agricultural waste utilization. It is believed that through our joint efforts, the utilization of agricultural waste in Jilin Province and across the country will achieve even more remarkable results, injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of the rural economy.
