The National Energy Administration has released two industry standards for biomass gasification and multi generation
On December 28th, 2023, the National Energy Administration issued Announcement No. 8 of 2023, which officially announced two energy industry standards drafted by units such as Hefei Debo, Huadian Science and Technology, Dongfang Electric, Shaanxi Coal Group, and Nanjing Forestry Institute - "Technical Conditions for Fixed Bed Gasifiers of Biomass Gasification Multigeneration" and "Technical Conditions for Fluidized Bed Gasifiers of Biomass Gasification Multigeneration". The implementation of standards means that the cost of biomass energy will be further reduced.

The introduction of these two standards marks significant progress in the utilization of biomass energy gasification technology in China. With the increasing global demand for renewable energy, the development and utilization of biomass energy has gradually become a focus, and biomass gasification and multi generation are gradually becoming a new direction for global energy transformation.
This standard will provide clear technical guidance and practical norms for relevant enterprises, helping to improve the safety and stability of biomass gasification multi generation technology, and reduce production costs. Further promote the healthy development of the biomass energy industry and achieve comprehensive improvement in ecological, social, and economic benefits. At the same time, this is also a reflection of the positive contributions made by various participating units in China's energy transformation and green development, providing strong support for achieving the "dual carbon" goals.
The release of standards is an important achievement in China's biomass energy field, which will inject new impetus into the optimization of China's energy structure and green development. In the future, we look forward to more enterprises participating in the development and utilization of biomass energy, jointly promoting the green and affordable development of China's energy industry.
